Ruthie’s Law
June 13, 2007 by Ruthie
This blog is dedicated to analysis and commentary of criminal law in its multiplicity of forms. Whilst I aim to update this site daily, it is more likely to be weekly, depending on pressures of work.
This site should be of interest if you are a law student, practitioner or facing a criminal charge.
I bet you your hourly fee it isn’t updated daily - it’s OK I can spare £10
Ruthie…. excellent… can I go on your blogroll…
I’ll do my best to do something criminal… but I would not wish to expose myself.
Yes yours can be the first blog to deflower my virgin blogroll…
Remarkable decision by the Magistrates in Sir Stephens case. It’ve very hard to avoid the feeling that he was aquitted in the face of the evidence becuase of the disproportinate penalty he would inevitably pay for what is in truth a very minor offence.
I fear that if he was on a thrill seeking exercise, having been aquitted he may be tempted to push his luck again. We shall see. Perhaps the trauma and publicity of the court case has assuaged any exhibitionist tendancies…
The general word on the street was that he is not only a brilliant lawyer, but a very nice man. Maybe overall justice has been done by the result.
Yes… most of the people I know at the Bar and Immigration judge friend of mine - describe him as charming and friendly.
Have put you on my blogroll. Good luck with the blog!
Congratulations….
Cheers Dan. Thanks for your comment. The fact I’m getting lots of comments already is encouraging me to maintain this blog. Any comments or suggestions extremely welcome.
